Hey there!

Thanks for checking out my letter, I hope it’ll be useful! I’ve noted down some general thoughts/prompts feel free to just ignore those if you’ve got other ideas – I’m game for anything and I’m sure I’ll love whatever you come up with \o/

DNWs: mundane AUs, unrequested crossovers, pregnancy/mpreg, A/B/O, permanent physical damage, scat/vomit/piss, vore, rimming

Likes: worldbuilding, missing-scene type fic, unreliable narrators, banter, us against the world, found family/family of choice, moral conflicts, loyalty and abuse of said loyalty, pragmatic characters, people kicking ass together, dysfunctional/codependent relationships, unlikely allies, competence, horror, cosmic horror – the more grotesque and inhuman the better, action scenes and battles/fights, things getting destroyed in totally over-the-top ways, trust and trust issues, power dynamics/power imbalances, protectiveness, ambiguous or downright unhappy endings

Art Likes: I LOVE ALL ART and I am bad at prompting for it. But! Some general things I think are super cool – bright and warm colors, black/white/greys with accent colors, super dramatic lighting, characters wearing each others’ clothes, monster transformations/characters as monsters, blood splashes, pointy fangy teeth, messy linework

NSFW Likes: body horror, bruises, fight sex, xeno, character study through porn, size differences, aggressive/rough sex, moral ambiguity, size differences, abuse of authority, terrible people having a great time, breathplay/choking, manhandling, stomach and/or throat bulges, somnophilia, blood, gore, consent issues/dubcon/noncon

(I haven’t prompted for it specifically because I can’t prompt for smut to save my life, but wherever I’ve nominated a / ship I would also be very happy with something porny rather than plotty.)

The Endless
Hal/Tim, Tim & Hal

Honestly the main reason I nominated and requested these two is that I’m super intrigued by that one scene late in the movie where Aaron and the camp group are all sitting around the campfire, Aaron has no idea what’s actually going on with the loops yet, and before Hal can say anything Tim just sort of gestures for him to get up and come with and Hal, up until then the de facto leader of the camp, veeeery reluctantly follows? eyemoji.png But no, really, what’s up with that? What’s the dynamic there? (And how often exactly does Tim pat Hal on the shoulder like he did in the end of the movie??)

Tim’s always sort of doing his own thing – he unlocks the shed with all the records in it when Justin and Aaron return at the end; he’s the only one not into the brothers returning from the start – while Hal is just trying so hard to make the best of the situation they’re all in, and I would just really like to know what the both of them get up to across the various loops. Like, was Tim already there when the camp group showed up? There’s records in the shed going back all the way to the 1800s, and Tim’s dress style is definitely a lot more old school than the rest, so…? (I mean, while I personally am a fan of suspenders they’re not exactly the sort of thing you wear in the 2010s.)

I requested both the ship and non-ship version so, really, go wild! Do whatever! I’m happy with anything that explores the relationship between these two, whatever that relationship ends up being.

FFXIV
Sartauvoir quo Soranus

I love Sartauvoir SO MUCH. Like, remember when you first stepped into Bozja, you got the hang of some of the early skirmishes, and then suddenly there’s that huge impact marker on the ground and Thunderer starts playing? And you’re just kind of stood there, wondering what fuck-off huge monster is going to appear . . . and then this old elezen shows up. And all is well! This is fine!! Except grandpa starts showing off his pyromantic side and everything just goes south immediately?? A+ moment and let me tell you, I was devastated when he didn’t show up in Zadnor to fuck up the skirmishes there, too.

But!! He did show up on the Dalriada with some veeeery interesting legatus-style moves, and coupled with his Field Note I’d love to know more about him. What was his time serving under Basch like – Sartauvoir’s so devoted that 20+ years later he’s still fighting for him rather than his actual commander, so, like, what did Basch do to him?! And by that I mean did they fuck  Or what about Mannatheiwo: what was Sartauvoir’s life like before the imperials came? We know from the Notes that he was a teacher, so what was that like? Or how about more recent happenings – he’s working under Albeleo now, and there’s that really interesting line in the Field Notes about not many people making it through Albeleo’s training methods. So… >:D?

Seriously. Do whatever you’d like here with Sartauvoir and I’ll be super happy.

The Masquerade Series
WB: the lightning to the east

Traitor Baru: so there’s the Mother of Storms, and there’s lightning and maybe something else behind it :)
Me: well go on, what is behind it?
Monster:
Tyrant:
Me: what’s behind it?!

I just want to know what’s going on with the lightning to the east, guys. I like how subtly that mystery is ingrained in the background plot of the books, but it’s never actually properly given any attention until those final few pages in Tyrant – but the lightning and the Mother of Storms is sort of always hovering and I DESPERATELY want to know what’s up with that. Between Tyrant’s epilogue and some really interesting asides in Svir’s chapters we know tiny bits and pieces: there’s people living there, and they worship the lightning; there’s symbols in the lightning and the way the land is devastated sounds a bit like a nuke went off; some of the people there’ve got metal plates in their heads and maybe there’s also something going on with a brain-infesting parasite?? It is a mystery.

You have absolutely free rein here: want to do a take on Svir and Lindon’s journey past the Mother of Storms, and what they found there? Go for it. Baru or Aminata go on an expedition there, post-Tyrant? Awesome. Some poor OC gets lost in the lands to the east? You have my blessing. I’m just super interested in what people think is actually going on over there.

Malazan
Dancer/Dassem

They’re both super competent at killing people! They both end up being super reluctant about actually killing people! Like, their character arcs parallel each other SO MUCH and I love everything about them, from when they first met outside of Li Heng to running an empire together to faking their deaths and becoming mopey gods who may or may not be actively avoiding each other out of guilt. PERFECT.

I’d be down for basically anything here – exploring their history with something set during the early days of the empire, when they were both figuring out how things worked and maybe were also trying to navigate their own relationship, or in the last few years after the Chaining that set Dassem against Hood and Dancer+Kellanved on their path, both of them occupied with their own plans. Did they ever go on any missions together? And what happened at the last Chaining, on that note? Something set after the Crippled God was freed and Hood was killed could be super cool as well: does it change anything for them, now that both Cotillion and Dassem have more or less achieved what they first set out to do? Would they try to reconcile, after that night in Darujhistan? Or even before all that – were there any other instances when Cotillion provided some unseen help for Traveler, or maybe the other way around?

My stabby dudes…honestly no matter what you do with these two I will be happy.
